Music festivals are the soulmates of summer. Their unwavering ability to offer days filled with bliss and freedom make these events absolutely unforgettable. You’re probably frowning at the thought that summer is almost over, and therefore festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo are in the rearview mirror. But, no fear! As long as the warm, long days still exist, so will the opportunities to attend the beloved events of the season. Barefoot Campus Outfitter loves summer music festivals and we’re still trying to hop on every chance to have some fun in the sun, jamming to our favorite artists. Festival: Electric Zoo

Dates: September 1-3, 2017

Spot: Randall’s Island- New York, New York

Electric Zoo is returning again to Randall’s Island in New York City for the Labor Day bash that shakes the city every year. After an unfortunate turn of events in its earlier years, this EDM festival has made a strong comeback with its past two events. This year, big names such as DJ Snake, Zedd, Galantis, and the beloved Above & Beyond are coming to rock Randall’s Island. Get yourself rave-ready this year and connect with other people who go to your school with some college apparel from Barefoot Campus Outfitter.

Dates: September 1-3, 2017

Spot: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Jay Z has had quite the year with the birth of twins, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to hesitate to throw the annual two-day party in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This year, artists such as J. Cole, Marshmello, Migos (skrrt skrrt), Solange, and Run the Jewels are making their way to the stages that will rise above the City of Brotherly Love. Don’t miss out on this year’s Made in America Festival! We sure don’t plan on it. Oh, and don’t forget to wear some red, white, and blue.

Festival: Outside Lands

Dates: August 11-13, 2017

Spot: Golden Gate Park- San Francisco, California

What’s better than taking a stroll through San Francisco’s most iconic park? Perhaps going to one of the best music festivals of the year there? This early August, Outside Lands will be hosting their annual festival in Golden Gate Park and artists such as Lorde, a Tribe Called Quest, Empire of the Sun, The Who, and many more will be jamming out there this summer. In addition to the incredible venue and artists, comedians like Nick Kroll and Nikki Glaser will also be there to cause a roar of laughter for those that join them.

Festival: Moonrise Festival

Dates: August 12-13, 2017

Spot: Baltimore, Maryland

The East Coast is truly putting forth some competition in terms of festival fun this summer, and Moonrise Festival in Baltimore is just the icing on the cake. Bringing big name producers and DJs such as Excision, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, and Zeds Dead as well as hip-hop artists Migos and Run the Jewels, Moonrise gives you no chances for excuses not to attend. This two-day festival doesn’t hold back with its talent and we know you’re feet will be sore after all of the dancing. Our college apparel company hopes you can make it! We sure will be!

Festival: North Coast

Dates: September 1-3, 2017

Spot: Chicago, Illinois

The only thing better than some deep dish pizza is deep dish pizza enjoyed after one of Chicago’s best festivals. North Coast is coming back to the Windy City this Labor Day for three days of fun, art, and, of course, music. North Coast is the festival for the music savvy, as it features some of music’s most talented artists. With a Deadmau5 & Eric Prydz duo set, a live Bonobo set, and a Sunday topped off with the magnificent Tipper, North Coast did an epic job of providing Union Park in Chicago with three days of show-stopping performances. Make sure to sport some college apparel by the one and only Barefoot Campus outfitter! You’re sure to look festy-ready.
