Barefoot is so excited to see it’s brand growing every day! There are now eight stores all around Texas (Stephenville, Fredericksburg, Waco, Huntsville and San Marcos),  Iowa (Ames), South Carolina (Columbia), and even Florida (Tallahassee)!

In honor of all our wonderful stores and to support local businesses, let’s get local with all our stores and see what all these great towns have to offer – bedsides Barefoot, of course!

First, is the store located in the quaint town of Stephenville, home of the Tarleton Texans!

If you are not at Memorial Stadium either enjoying a football game or tailgating, you might find yourself sharing a burger at The Purple Goat or sipping on a chilly Marg from Fuzzy’s.

Whether it’s “Two-Stepping Tuesday” or “Thirsty Thursday” you’re sure to make new friends on the dance floor of City Limits or playing pool at Bull Nettle.

In the summertime, you’re probably loading up the car to head down to the Brazos River in Glenrose, or the beach in Granbury.

Some special nights you even get lucky enough for a big-time country music artist to put on a free concert down at the City Park! How could you not fall in love with the charm of this small town?

For our second stop, don’t forget your koozies as we head into the heart of beer and wine country – Fredericksburg, Texas!

Hungry? Not for long! Freds is home to some of the best eats: Old German Bakery, Silver Creek, Java Ranch, Auslander, Burger Burger, Clear River, Crossroads and, last but defiantly not least, Hondos. Man, I’m stuffed just thinking about it.

To work off all your food, you can make like Josh Abbott and “climb up to enchanted rock”, or you can always choose my road and spend the afternoon wine tasting and shopping!

Let’s go see how the Bears are living it up in Waco, Texas!

After a victory at McLane Stadium, you can find me grubbing down at the local food trucks! Because who doesn’t look food trucks and bomb Instagram selfies?!

Let’s go see what Chip and Joanna Gaines and getting us obsessed with at Magnolia Market/ The Silos, and afterward, we can take a trip to the Dr. Pepper Museum!

Is your inner foodie begging for more? No worries, Waco is home to amazing restaurants including Viteks, Portfino’s, George’s, Bari’s and Twisted Root.

After your food settles, cool off with more adventures at the BSR cable park, or go say hello to the animals at Cameron Park Zoo!

The fourth stop on our itinerary is Huntsville, Texas!

Home of the Sam Houston Bearkats!

Grab a bite to eat, but good luck making a decision between all the amazing restaurants! There is City Hall, Farm House, Humphrey’s and Toasted. Trust me, you won’t leave this town on an empty stomach!

Huntsville prides itself with all the rich history, you’re not going to want to miss out on going to the Sam Houston National Forest, taking a picture with the big man himself (Literally, the Sam Houston statue is 67 feet tall!), and if you still haven’t gotten enough Sam Houston… let’s head to Bowers Stadium to cheer on the Bearkats!

Before heading out, enjoy relaxing at a $5 movie at the Regal Movie Theater!

Don’t forget to pack a swimsuit for our next trip to San Marcos, Texas!

This Texas town shows it’s tremendous pride for their beloved TXST BOBCATS!

Load the cooler and float the river for a fun packed day that guarantees some awesome memories!

If you’re looking to keep your outdoorsy streak going, take a hike through Purgatory Creek or visit the Five Mile Dam.

Still up for more fun?! San Marcos is located just 40 minutes from amazing towns like Wimberly, Austin, San Antonio and New Braunfels!

Don’t worry, I haven’t forgotten the most important part… FOOD!

San Marcos is full of rich food, here are a few mandatory stops: Root Cellar Cafe, Taproom, Aquabrew and Giles Broiler!

Pack your bags were going north to Ames, Iowa!

Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun at Ada Hayden Lake or Bandshell Park.

Afterward, let’s talk food – can’t go wrong with Hickory Park, El Azteca or Wallaby’s!

The perfect weekend isn’t complete without spending your Saturday morning at the Farmers Market!

Next up, were visiting Columbia, South Carolina!

LET’S GO GAMECOCKS!

Whether you’re hanging out with the animals of Riverbanks Zoo or posing for a cute selfie with your Margarita on the Riverwalk, your in-store for an amazing day!

Don’t miss the concerts at the Music Farm or Colonial Life Arena, followed by an “Adult Milkshake” from Kaminsky’s Dessert Cafe. However, DON’T IGNORE the disclaimer on their menus – “These may bring all the boys to the yard”.

Get an early start Saturday morning to stroll through the Farmers Market, but don’t be too late for brunch at Cantina 76!

Last but definitely not least on our trip, Tallahassee, Florida!

There is no other way to spend this trip than seeing all of the beauty that Tallahassee has to offer.

Visit the MaClay Garden parks for a relaxing walk, or take a dive in the beautiful Wakulla Springs. Afterward, make sure to check out the St. Marks Lighthouse as well as the Florida Historic Capitol Museum.

Spend your Saturday evenings cheering the Noles onto another victory!

Before you head out, be sure to check these restaurants off your list – they won’t disappoint! Zin, A La Provence, Andrews Capital Bar & Grill, Backwoods Bistro, Uptown Cafe, and top it all off with an old fashion ice cream float from Lofty Pursuits!
