Folks can be proud of a lot of things in life, but few things compare to the pride of being a full-fledged Texan. And this has nothing to do with living in Texas. It’s about being a Tarleton State alum. These are the folks you see everywhere wearing their Tarleton hats with a bit of grace, a touch of honor, and a whole lot of swag. C’mon, it’s purple, and if you’re rocking purple, it’s regal and straight fire!
Tarleton State alums are unique from most other college graduates in the Lone Star State. Heck, even their graduation rings are something special. They were the first IN.THE.WORLD. to start etching a series numbering in each ring, tying all graduates together for life. Say what you will, but that’s super cool.
As such, it should be no surprise to anyone that Tarleton State grads and proud supporters are all about wearing purple & white anywhere they can to show their allegiance. But can it go TOO FAR? Meh, split hairs if you will, but when you’re a Texan through & through, others will just have to deal.

Is there really any place you can’t wear Tarleton hats & not be the coolest person in the room? Not really. So, whether you’re starting Duck Camp, tailgating at Texan Alley, or just need some purple & white to make an outfit pop (you know, for fancy galas and such), remember that Poo Say, “Wear Tarleton hats.”
