Here’s to 2019

WOW! We’re just one month into 2019 and if the rest of the year plays out how the first month has been, this year is going to R O C K. How have you guys been holding up with y’alls New Year Resolutions? In recent years, I would make totally drastic resolutions that just didn’t seem achievable. However, this year, I’m being practical. This year and on, I want to work on forming strong opinions (from the most minimal to the most drastic, I want to be more stern with the opinions I have and present the authenticity that carries out with it.)

Other resolutions I have for myself is really digging into my ENFP personality and understanding myself fully. If you haven’t taken the Myers Briggs 16 Personalities test you DEFINITELY need to. There was a wave of clarity that came to me after reading my results from this test. It’s so comforting to read how YOU work, how YOU handle things, the way that YOU think. It’s all there in black and white and you finally feel understood. So, truly understanding my strengths and weaknesses, analyzing my relationships, and being more aware of how my personality meshes or might not mesh with others are just a couple of things I am really wanting to work on as well!

Lastly, Traveling. Like most, this is a popular New Years resolution. It’s one that we shouldn’t just talk about but be about! Traveling, big or small, means you are doing something for yourself, and you should be proud of that. Traveling will also bring you to new cities that you didn’t know that you could ever see yourself in. Traveling is a way to gain a new perspective on things… the way you perceive yourself, other humans, other cultures, and life in itself! I saw this quote the other day that said, “Traveling- it leaves you speechless then turns you in to a storyteller.”  I cannot wait to hear about the different places everyone is traveling to this year and all the joy and knowledge that it will bring to each of you!

If you haven’t made any resolutions or if you just don’t know where to start, or maybe January just wasn’t the month you were hoping it’d be. It’s a new day today, and you are capable of anything you set your mind to.

Here’s to you, here’s to growth, and here’s to twentynineteen. ♡

XOXO,
