Family Weekend is upon us! Thousands of students across campus are in a frenzy trying to get their house/apartment in pristine condition, ready to welcome their parents to the place they call home. Let’s be honest though…your parents won’t be fooled. They know when they get there, you spent most of the previous night scrubbing the dishes, cleaning the house, and hiding those bottles of fun juice you’ve stocked up on this semester (let’s be real).
If your lucky enough for your family to come down this weekend, don’t take it for granted. Yeah, you might not feel cool bringing your parents to dinner or walking around with them on campus, but they’ll appreciate it (& it’s kind of exciting to show them what you’ve been up to).
There’s a lot of exciting things going on this weekend at Georgia Southern. Check out the Family Weekend Block Party on Friday from 6-8 pm. They’ll have free giveaways & FREE food…who doesn’t love that. Then on Saturday, head on over to the pre-game tailgate at the RAC Pavilion from 3:30-5:30 pm. Then the real party starts! Georgia Southern vs. ULM at 6 pm.
